Responsibilities:

  • Pursuing public project opportunities through RFPs
  • Leading a team of project engineers, designers, and construction managers to execute municipal projects from start to finish
  • Represent Invistec to liaise with municipalities, government agencies, and regulators
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project engineers and construction managers

Calgary

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of land development detailed engineering drawings including:
    • site grading, sanitary, storm, water, roads, catchment plans for residential and
      commercial subdivision projects.
  • Technical analysis of storm and sanitary design sheets and modelling software.
  • Designing ESC plans and reports.
  • Interpolation of topographic information required for design.
  • Preparation of quantity take offs and OPC’s.
  • Preparation of plan of record drawings.
  • Liaise with various municipal and approval authorities.
  • Commitment to working in a team environment with established team building abilities.
  • Mentor junior staff

Vancouver

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with Invistec’s interdisciplinary consulting team in British
    Columbia and Alberta
  • Independently lead project teams in the development and delivery of
    exceptional plans and policies, and working with clients, stakeholders, and
    public officials
  • Foster and nurture relationships with existing clients while actively identifying
    and engaging new prospects
  • Lead the design, delivery, facilitation, and documentation of public
    engagement activities
  • Ability to understand and interpret municipal regulations, bylaws, and policies,
    as well as various provincial regulations
  • Liaise with clients, government officials, and regulatory bodies
  • Engage with prospective clients in understanding their needs and goals
  • Prepare proposal responses for Request for Proposals and prospective clients
