Transportation Infrastructure Design, Transportation Impact Studies

This project was carried by Invistec’s Transportation Team members, while they were working with Traffic Solutions Consulting Ltd., for Alberta Transportation. The project included the Anthony Henday Drive Ring Road in Edmonton and the Stoney Trail Ring Road in Calgary.  Services were provided for freeway and interchange planning and operations and formulated assessment procedures and Technical Specifications for proponents’ submissions on freeway design and operations.  The assignment included determination of laning requirements for the freeway mainlines, weaving section design, and interchange configurations (24 interchanges on Anthony Henday Dr and 14 interchanges on Stoney Tr), and the evaluation of proponents’ submissions.
