Located in the Ross Creek Crossing neighbourhood, this redistricting aimed to give new life to existing hotel sites, providing flexibility to incorporate residential-related uses that complement current commercial uses on site. A Direct Control District was proposed to incorporate policies that promote pedestrian-friendly site design such as indoor and outdoor amenity areas, pedestrian linkages, and consideration for small-scale commercial uses.
