Claudia Rusnak
Claudia is a versatile planning professional with over 15 years of experience executing a diverse range of land development projects, strategic community building, and economic development initiatives. As a creative, energetic and business-focused planner, Claudia strives for effective working relationships to achieve balanced and successful outcomes by engaging stakeholders to collaborate on solutions.
A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan's Regional and Urban Development Planning program, Claudia's professional practice has taken her across various rural and urban settings, preparing community area structure plans, outline plans, land use amendments, and subdivisions, as well as market research and feasibility studies. Claudia also has experience designing and implementing strategic communications plans and leading effective public consultation processes, working both at the municipal level and with non-profit groups, including a period overseas (5 years in Taiwan) in program development. More recently, Claudia was a planner/project manager at the City of Edmonton. In 2019 Claudia left her position with the City to take on the challenge of owning and managing a consulting company in the private sector.
Claudia is a dynamic self-starter, motivated by working in innovative team environments to facilitate effective coordination of quality and meaningful results.
