Fabio Coppola
Fabio joined Invistec in 2019 after completing his Master of Planning (MPlan) degree from the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Environmental Design. During his time in the program, he received two letters of commendation for outstanding academic performance and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Planning History & Theory. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Studies from the University of Lethbridge, where he developed a strong foundation in planning through co-op and internship roles with Lethbridge County and the Town of Okotoks.
Before joining Invistec, Fabio gained hands-on industry experience working as a land analyst with a Calgary-based real estate acquisitions and dispositions firm. There, he deepened his understanding of land investment strategy and development potential, shaping his approach to planning and land development. Now serving as the General Manager of Invistec’s Calgary Office, Fabio is committed to advancing the company’s mission through his expertise in business and land development. He brings a passion for community building and a collaborative leadership style to support the growth of Invistec’s presence in Southern Alberta.
Outside of work, Fabio stays active through fitness and golfing with friends. He has published several articles in both academic and professional contexts and is a former Alberta Junior Hockey League player, having skated with the Brooks Bandits and Calgary Mustangs.
